K-pop continues to unfortunately not be my thing. I tried to give this album a good shot after being recommended it but it really kind of blurred together for me. It doesn’t help that I can’t speak Korean so much of the lyrical content kind of just became a sound wall but even musically aside from Supernova nothing really did it for me. I think it’s pretty good production-wise but honestly for most of it I was having the most fun when they doubled down on electropop instead of k-pop which was kind of my sign to give up on it. Doesn’t help that after the first few songs they really started to tap out, songs 7-9 particularly had me bored out of my mind. It’s not even that they’re super bad songs (except for Live My Life it sounds like it should be in ad or something) they’re just not doing anything at all that entertains me.
