Fuck you Fantano you bald bastard this album deserved at least a 6. It can be a bit much (especially in the just awful I Hate The Way I Look Today) and self indulgent at times but it’s so earnest which is hard to come across these days. It might be because it’s self indulgent that it feels earnest, it really feels like RAYE feels what she’s saying and it’s quite interesting to get a peek into her head like this.

For an hour thirty long album this felt was shockingly well paced which was nice as I often feel drained by any albums past like 40 minutes long. It helped that the sound of this album really varied and nothing felt overdone. The fact that there is a song with Hans Zimmer and another with Al Green with only three songs between them and they both sounds great and not too dissimilar is quite the feat that not many could pull off. Great album, check it out, go to hell Fantano.

By the way, unrelated, but sorry this is so small and kind of says nothing, I’ve just been really out of it especially when it comes to thoughts towards albums recently. You’re just going to have to believe I really liked this one.
