I thought this was a pretty alright album from the Talking Heads. It’s obviously no Remain in Light, containing more misses than it had hits but when it hit, it really felt like it hit. The Big Country especially is quite incredible and a nice ending to the album after a super lackluster second half (tracks 6 through 8 are pretty lame and I didn’t enjoy Take Me to the River nearly as much as I’d hoped). Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood for an album like this but it just felt a little too light and quirky at the time.
